Tashina Blair, FNP

New Provider!

Tashina Blair is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, who was born and raised in Milwaukie, Oregon. She wanted to be a nurse to help others from a young age, always admiring her grandmother and aunt who are both Registered Nurses. She attended Oregon Health & Science University’s nursing school, located on the Eastern Oregon University campus where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005. Since then, she worked in multiple different specialties within nursing including Med/Surg, Emergency departments and Primary care. It was while she was working in primary care, that she began to develop a passion for building a relationship with her patients, to help them not only live with their chronic conditions but thrive. During that time, she obtained her Diabetes Care and Education Specialist certification. By the fall of 2019, Tashina knew that she was destined to do more with her training and began working towards her master’s degree in nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, which she obtained in 2022. She is excited to bring her education and passion for helping patients live the best lives they can with their chronic conditions to the world of diabetes. As a type I diabetic patient herself, she understands the obstacles that her patients may face firsthand.

In her time outside of the clinic, Tashina, enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, and large extended family. They enjoy the outdoors to the fullest including camping, hunting, and fishing. You may also find her at her sewing machine, quilting.
